St Mary's was built in 1957, as a dual-purpose building to
serve the developing Elgar, Langland and Pound Bank estates. The Jubilee room was built later for extra community purposes. The cross was made by a local blind craftsman and erected and dedicated in 2000. Redecoration in the summer of 2004 saw this cross further enhanced by the painters from a graphic design by Wendy Townsend. |
